though American Diabetes Association (ADA) is a non profit organization, eveything else seems very different frm Los Angeles Homeless Services Coaltion (LAHSC). Been with ADA for almost a week nw and I must say I AM LOVING IT yo! Trust me, though I prefer working in a larger scale company, I still wont forget LAHSC. It was where I first came to realize I had interest in non profit organizations.

for those who doesnt exactly knw what non profit organization is, kindly look up the web and get a clear definition. it is not a place where you volunteer.though you can. you still get paid by working there. you're nt pay much less than other companies or whatsoever. oh, but as an intern, I dont get paid. haha

I have my own cubicle set right in front of Bo Smith, the marketing and communication director. My own computer, scanner, stationaries. everything were set neatly for me from the first day I was assigned to the seat. Been doing Public Service Announcements (PSA) stuff. We're gonna be doing a 30-sec spot on radio stations. The most difficult thing abt this is writing the speech to exactly the number of words given. Then when you start editing so the number would fit, the sentences dont soundas convincing. I have to make sure the message is persuasive yet subtle. I am still nt done writing my PSA. the fun thing abt this project is, I get to contact radio stations and stuff after this. and when I hear the ad over the radio next time, I can proudly say I DID IT ALL BY MYSELF for ADA. wahahahahh!!!

OH YAY!!! my parents are confirmed to be coming down again in december!!tickets are booked! mum hasnt even leave L.A yet. haha....
