I got in into disney internship college program!
wheeee!!!
damn happy! siqi doesnt have any excuse nt to take up the intern offer.
anw, was so happy at first.. then I started thinking abt school..
it's nt like disneyland is a walking distance away...
I'm willing to stop school for tt 6 mths and resume again next yr when the internship program ends...
it's nt THAT easy to enter into disney afterall.
and plus: I dont mind working at disney after i graduate. si it's a good chance afterall.
sigh... need to look for more ppl who got the interns. so we can have a van-pool!
anw, interview went qt bad.
siqi's interviewer and mine were different...
anw, I'm posted into the same department as siqi.
food and beverage. siqi goes under food and beverage hostess.
I dont think i got into tt.. If I didnt hear wrongly, I got into sth sth food and beverage.
okay anw, my interviewer,Linda, asked me..
what happened if...
1.a customer want sth to drink but we ran out of what they want. what wld you do.
ans given: apologize. then introduce the customer another drink that he/she wldprobably want to have and apologize again.
then I dont really remember the rest. cause I know i sucked so bad during the interview.
for every end sentence, I wld add in "...and stuff like that" or "and hmmm.. yar..."
that's a no-no for a phone inteview!
then I told her I wish to be part of the performers.
and all she asked was.. if I had the experience performing in front of many ppl.
and I told her "ya.. when I was young"
read: young.
tt's probably the reason why she didn't want to tell me there's gonna be an audition for character performer in disneyland on the 17th of june.
after everything's done, she asked me to wait by the phone for a few minutes before she decides whether I was accepted or nt..
and so I waited... I was jumping ard then in the top floor of cayton center.
cause I remembered siqi nt having to wait and her interviewer just took her in.
but anw, after a while, linda came back and told me..
"congratulations! and welcome to the disney family"
then blah blah blah...
her finals words were 'let the MAGIC begins' or sth like tt.
got to do with magic. and I love disney! cause they've got magic! wahahaa!
btw, I didnt know mickey mouse had a nephew...
