The one thing that I don't regret, and will never will for the rest of my live is taking sociology class.
let's just forget about the horrible test I had today. It was bad bad bad.
Then we watched a documentary show on 'killing us softly'. It was the third production by Jean Kilbourne.
I really worship the ground that she's walking on.
we're currently studying socialization and the power of media as the agent of socialization.
so, what Jean Kilbourne did over the past few years, was collecting advertisements.
Advertisements that we see in our everyday live- on TV; in magazines; on bilboard etc.
I raised my awareness that women have always been used as an object in today's world.
we're not seen as a subject; it never happened that way.

women have to have the perfect body which what advertisement always do: potray the 'perfect' bodies. ['perfect' is subjective. what I see as perfect, maybe nt be perfect to others. but in this case, come on! perfect bodies are the body which has got Huge boobs, that huge ass so on. Doesnt everyone agree? see! what advertisements have done to us.]
and if we dont, men complain. men complain about women's boobs: they're loob-sided.they're jiggly. they're too A-sized. blah blha blah. the list goes on.
It's really long... what men had to complain about women.
what we never hear are things such as, men's dicks: they're too small, too short, too sharp, too blunt, too flabby. the list goes on.
anw, there has never been a list on such negative comments on men. but why on women?

The guys in the sociology class agreed with jean kilbourne; which made me feel so glad!
good way to start. At least it'll get the men to think...

anw, jean Kilbourne wrote her book.

go get it! Then you'll understand what I've been trying to say.
She've printed those advertisements on her book too! anw, just get it! I've got mine.
It's really a good way to start getting all the women out there to think about it.

move away from socialization...
been feeling highly irritable for the past few hours.
which affects me so badly! I will gladly take a knife and kill someone. that's how bad.
I'm irritated by her; and someone up there is playing a game with me.
I've been waiting for so you think you can dance for the whole wk and when the day finally comes,
my TV refused to rcv any signal. I felt even worse when I realise the other channel was fine.
This game you're playing with me is even better than monopoly. There goes my show! no repeat or whatsoever. ass!
return me my show!

friday is coming and I hate friday.
because I hate english class that happens to fall on friday.
3 long hours of english class kills me.
noone has any idea how my english teacher is like.
she's one biased woman who stinks!

that felt great. I seldom call someone 'stinks'. because he/she must have been so bad to stink.
ms curtis: you stink!
