highlight of the day: conversation with shuwei's brother.
wayne: have you done all your homework?
me: what do you mean? all those we had to do? yeah.
wayne: wah! I only did until hw #5.
me: it's okay. Marvin did until #2. so you're better than him.
wayne: the taiwanese guy[pointing to the few seats in front of him] told me he never do also.
btw. the taiwanese guy he was refering to was the guy who migrated here eight yrs ago. THAT only one I talked to.whose name is called zhou.
me: oh! you mean that guy [I was refering to the Gatsby guy whom I thought he was a jap initially but concluded tt he's a taiwanese cause of his surname]
okay. Zhou sits in front of the gatsby guy called darren. so I wasnt sure which taiwanase wayne was refering to.
wayne: bu shi la. na ge tai wan ren. [no lar. the taiwanese]
me: oh ni zhai shuo de shi zhou. na ge gatsby tou fa de ye shi taiwan ren ah. ke shi ta ABC. [oh. you're talking abt zhou? the gatsy haired guy is also a taiwanese. But he's an ABC]
wayne: really meh? ni zhe me zhi dao ta shi ABC. ta shi han guo ren lar.[really meh? how do you know he's an ABC? he's a korean lar]
me: bu ke neng. ta de xin shi Lin eh. your surname but change the M to N [cannot be. his surname is Lin. like your surname LIM but the M change to N]
wayne: oh..[oh...]
me: jiu shi lor. ta ye shi taiwan ren.[that's why. he's a taiwanese]
wayne: ni wen ta la [you ask him lar]
-at this pt of time. we decided to shut up. cause there's a high possibilty that Darren[the guy we were talking abt] is a taiwanese. so he can understand what we were talking abt-
haha! crap! we shld have just talked in very singlish and he wouldnt be able to understand us. speaking in chinese.. try harder on a different person. haha
I made friend with this woman today. yes.. woman...
she's frm egypt. we exchanged alot of words and stuff.
Now then I realise, I have no idea what's her name. hmmmmm
When I told her I was in singapore for nine yrs.
she asked me if singapore first language was spanish.
oh god!
I didnt know sis had lots of chinese DVDs. she've got all Daniel Wu's and Stephen Fung's shows.
Basically all chinese movies that are shown in singapore and those they didnt show.
I'll be busy watching more DVDs during the week. yeeehaaaa
and surprisingly, I bought quite a number of Korean Dvds online yesterday.
cause sis made me listen to Winter sonata soundtrack and I was so touched. So I decided to buy korean DVDs.
test tomorrow. I'll screw it. screw screw screw.
