HOME!

Finally... Lots to tell frm the first day onwards.

30.4.05 [saturday]
Transit in thailand for almost 5 hrs before heading towards taiwan.
Really got a very bad impression of thailand.
I got scolded twice by their airline staffs tt I thought they've forgotten the fact tt 'customer is always right'
lousy attitude!
reached the hotel one n a half hr after 12 mn.
By then alr so damn tired.

1.5.05 [ sunday]
Went out with dad's business friend, David. He brought us to the highest shopping centre in the world.
called '101'. yar. 101 level of shopping centre but somehow I didnt go to the highest level to view the scenery.
Bought lots of taiwan mags cause its considerably cheap as compared to those I buy frm singapore.
But I didnt really like the shopping centre cause I got lost a couple of times and the shops they had carry those brands my parents wld buy and nt for myself.
Oh! btw! I finally get to buy mickey mouse shirts!! Lots fo them!
Taiwan has got this shop tt carries a wide range of mickey mouse products. But yar.. somehow its costly.
Anw, went down to this place I have no idea what is it called.
EAT ALOTT!!! Cause dad wanted to buy lots of suan mei and those dried fish snacks for felicia
So I was made to sample them. All of them.
To try out which were the nicer ones.
On top of the breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner and supper, I had more of those sample foods to add on to the large amt of intake I had for the day.
Anw, there's this suan mei tt can help anyone move their bowels.
I was only told that each person is only allowed to eat max 5pieces in a day after I've eaten alot.
So I had diarrhea at the later half of the day.
oh dinner at sheraton hotel was fantabulous! I thought all buffet will be the same.
I was hell wrong! the food they offered there was like tripple the amt they had in Singapore's shang-ri la and marriot hotel.
back to the hotel after that and we had to take out the smallest luggage from the medium one. and frm the medium one out frm the biggest one and started packing.
Oh. cause dad kind of foresee we will shop alot. so he brought3 luggages.
by putting in the smallest one into the medium one and the medium into the big one so it seems like we've brought only one luggage when we leave singapore. On top of these luggages,dad brought another trolley which was rather empty when we left singapore.

3.5.05 [monday]
dad had to discuss work.
So his big shot friend got someone to bring me around taiwan.
She was supposed to bring me around but I stayed in the shopping centre the whole day tt by the time I had to go back to the hotel,
I didnt go to any other place besides the shopping centres. haha!!
anw, for those who wanna go taipei, remember to go to this shopping centre called 'IDEE' or call it Yi Die by the taiwanese.
Its two shopping centres located just opposite of one another seperated by the main road.
But they've got lots of stuff!!! heeheee!!
I bought two pairs of Birkenstock [and come to think of it, I was nt clear headed then, I think? to buy two of the same model], Nike Dunks [taiwan's special edition]. their Nike special edition bags and some other stuff that I cant really remember now.
I used up the money dad gave me.
Lunch was great!
I ate in their food court. well, in taiwan it isnt really called a food court.
their taiwanese version of oyster+egg tt I usually eat in singapore hawker centre is so different!
They had this sweet sauce poured on top of it instead of chilli that usually accompany my oyster egg.
For dinner, met up with dad and his friend again.
The restaurant was very well decorated and filled with businessmen frm japan especially.
Even though the food were great, I didnt really enjoy the dinner.
Everyone seemed to be smoking non-stop and drinking alot.
The whole place was polluted I had to use a wet towel to cover my nose throughout the dinner.

Okay! after dinner cabbed down to Xi Men Ding Ye Shi , Xi Men Ding Night Market.
The whole place was filled with all the little shops!
I couldnt try any of the food they had at the long stretch of road cause I was too full.
nonetheless, I had lots of fun shopping again.
Luggages were officially full.
Dad who werent used to walking much went in to Nike shop and bought a whole set of matching shirt, track pants and dunks.
He changed them on the spot in the shop just like tt. haha!
I love his dunks!!!! cause I chose it for him!
OH MY GOD!!
I must nt forget to blog abt this!!!!
The guy who attendedmy dad was like FWOAH!!!!!!!!!!!
His nose was like Jerry Yan's. For those who doesnt know who Jerry Yan is, He is Yan Chen Xu.
Who acted in Liu Xing Hua Yuan lar!
Somehow that guy resemble him alot. But I never ever thought Jerry Yan is good looking. and I still hasnt change my mind on tt.
But tt guy dressed so well!! He tried speaking english to me and speaking english for taiwanese is like asking me to speak chinese.
So he sounded cute lar..
so now I know where to look for him the enxt time I go back taiwan. hahahahahah!!!
Highlight of the night was taking neoprints with dad and his friend.
I'm nt gonna say meeting tt cute guy lar! taiwan so many! seeing one doesnt mean much. haha!
okay anw, dad wanted to take neoprint.
They had lots of shop on tt but the one we went to , had 3 floors of those neoprint machines.
The machines were better than Singapore's. SO maybe in a couple of weeks time, They'll bring in those machines to Singapore.
went back to hotel late tt night.

3.5.05 [tuesday]
Went back to Xi Men Ding Ye Shi again. But in the afternoon this time.
It wasnt as nice as the night before but went back to buy duck tongue and some other food stuff.
I finally get to try those cheap roadside foodstalls.
I was eating and eating and eating and eating.. non stop eating.
Went back to the hotel when Dad decided to go to Shi Lin Ye shi, Shi Lin night market when It was alr 11 at night.
shopped for more stuff. I bought lots of thsoe little little stuff from the japanese stores.
By the time we wanted to go home at 2a.m, we reaqlsied tt we've only entered one part of the whole night market.
The other part was where they sell all the food and edible snacks. obviously snack are edible. but yar anw, food lar!
But didsnt buy any food cause it was too late and we've got flight in abt 4 hrs time. So we headed back to the hotel.

I was so disappointed actually. I didnt see any taiwan starts on the read or these night markets. sob!
I could only see them live on tv shows. haha!
The hotel that we stayed for the 4 nights was ex.
we stayed in deluxe room which has two King sized bed in it.
I could roll around the bed at night. haha!
Oh! all the luggages were full.
there was even 5kg worth of excess baggage.. I told myself nt to shop for anymore stuff in thailand.

Aiya! very lazy to relate everything tt happened in thailand!
went out with dad's friend and her family on the 2nd day. dinner at seafood market was FWOAH!
we had a total of 27Kg of excess baggage by the time we left thailand today. It wasnt my fault. those 22kg worth of stuff bought in thailand were basically, food and.. food and.. more food!

Okay I'm off to sleep! so tired!
I'm no more a Singapore resident now! ='/
Immigration officer chopped my passport I can only remain here for maximum 30days.
how sad...
